GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Scope
These general conditions come into force on February 12, 2019 and apply to all training offers offered on the Vertical Master site.
2. Order and Conclusion of the Contract
By clicking on the “order” button, the client makes a binding offer for the selected course. The validation of the order by the customer also takes the place of acceptance of these general conditions. The contract is deemed concluded by the order confirmation sent by Vertical Master to the customer.
3. Price
All Vertical Master prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) and include VAT. The prices indicated are only valid in the territory of Switzerland. Vertical Master reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. For the customer, only the price indicated in the order confirmation is valid.
4. Payment
The payment methods accepted by Vertical Master are exclusively those indicated on the site. The risk of a payment system malfunction is borne by the customer, at the entire discharge of Vertical Master.
5. Registration for a Training
Registration for training takes place only via the Vertical Master website. Proof of registration for training is the order confirmation received by Vertical Master.
6. Exemption
A request for exemption from training can only be accepted by Vertical Master if it is received by e-mail or by post no later than two weeks before the start of the training. A request for exemption which reaches Vertical Master less than two weeks before the start of the training can only be accepted upon presentation of a medical certificate. The customer can then freely and free of charge register for training identical to the dates available on the site within six months of the missed training. The customer does not have the right to request reimbursement for training.
7. Cancellation
Vertical Master reserves the right to cancel training if weather and atmospheric conditions make it difficult to operate a drone safely. Likewise, Vertical Master reserves the right to cancel training if an instructor is ill and Vertical Master is unable to find a replacement with the same skills prior to the start of training. In the event of cancellation of a training by Vertical Master, the customer will have the possibility to choose freely and free of charge among the training dates available on the site within six months of the canceled training. The customer does not have the right to request reimbursement for training.
8. Number of Participants
In order to ensure that the training runs smoothly, Vertical Master sets, for each of them, a minimum and a maximum number of participants. Places will be allocated in the order of arrival of registrations. If the number of participants is insufficient, Vertical Master reserves the right to cancel the training. The client can then freely and without charge choose a new date or request reimbursement for the training.
9. Certificate
The training offered by Vertical Master is private training that is not recognized by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation. Certificates and attestations given to the client as part of a training only serve to prove that the client has taken the relevant training.
10. Civil Liability Insurance
If the customer wishes to use his personal drone during training, he must first ensure that he has taken out third party liability insurance which covers the use of his drone.
11. Partial invalidity
If one or more of the provisions of these general conditions should be ineffective, this will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In the event of nullity or lack of effect of a provision, it will be replaced by a valid provision the economic purpose of which will be as close as possible to that pursued by the canceled provision. We will proceed in the same way if a gap is found.
12. Applicable law
These general conditions and any disputes or claims arising from or relating to them (including disputes or claims of an extracontractual nature) will be exclusively governed by Swiss law.
13. Place of jurisdiction
Any dispute relating to the conclusion, interpretation, execution or termination of these general conditions will be submitted to the Geneva courts.
